BLOG 3 - The Role of Technology in my Profession and Life

Imagen
In today’s world, technology has been applied in people’s lives either as socialization alternative or as a working tool , and f or as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by it, the most common examples being TVs, videogames consoles and telephones, or even complex computer programs (thanks to my big brother), so I could say I’m very familiarized with it. My favorite piece of technology is probably my laptop! It’s portable, comfortable and it can be used to watch movies, design graphics, or even draw a piece of art. It can even be used as a tablet if you bend the screen backwards! It’s my all-time favorite, but I’m always open and excited to learn new forms of technology!   As designers we use printers, the internet, scanners, and different design programs to produce our final products. Technology has positively affected the design industry by helping designers improve on their skills and work, and with this making their jobs much faster and certain things way easier.

BLOG 2 - The Best Holiday Ever: My Study Trip in Brazil.

Without a doubt, my most memorable holidays were that time I had my study trip in Brazil. I went with my classmates by the end of 2018. We stayed 7 days and 6 nights at a hotel located in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. When we first arrived, we realized that the heat of Brazil and Chile were nothing alike. In Brazil, the heat was humid, and it felt like your lungs were filled by it, making it hard to breathe sometimes. Also, it didn’t matter we were in the middle of the summer, some days it rained with 34° Celsius! Each day we went to different places and did very fun activities, but by far my favorite one was when we visited the Cascaneia Water Park. There was tons of pools and water slides to play. Me and my friends had so much fun at that park. We also visited the Cristo Luz, were we had a fancy dinner, Blumenau, the German city of Brazil, and the cable cars of Balneario Camboriu. It was genuinely such a fun trip! I would love to go there again if I have the opportunity, hopeful

BLOG 1 - A place i would love visiting: Japan.

Since a very young age I was really in touch with Japan's pop culture, such as anime, manga, and music thanks to my older brother interests, so it was no surprise that the homeplace of all of this ended up grabbing my attention. Back then it was simple as that, but now there’s a lot of other reasons why I would like to go there at least once in a lifetime. The culture of this country is, in my opinion, a perfect blend of Eastern traditions and Western modernity that can be seen everywhere. Japan’s art , architecture, design, cinematography, dance, and like I mentioned before, pop culture, are reason enough to visit Japan. Japan's temples and castles are a must! There are an estimated 80,000 temples and shrines in Japan of all sizes and some of them are over 1,000 years old . In Osaka, Tokyo, Mount Fuji and almost every Japanese city you can find temples and shrines that are worth a visit. I would love to visit the Kinkakuji temple someday, just look at how magnificent it
